Pregnancy and parenting can bring times of joy and times of stress. We know that our little ones do not come with a set of instructions, but that is where home visiting can help!

Home visiting provides family support and coaching through planned, regular visits with a trained professional, and are based on your family’s needs and your availability. Our home visitors work with parents on essential parenting skills as well as family bonding both before the birth of their child and as their children grow. Home visiting programs are free and the goal of home visiting programming is to make sure moms have a healthy pregnancy and parents are supported to help their children grow and develop in a safe and stimulating environment.

Home visitors can give you information on many topics based on what your family needs. Some of these topics include:

• Pregnancy
• Parenting practices
• Children’s health and development
• Community resources and services available in your area
